PARALLEL is a WWII Then & Now Short Film with the goal to play two films parallel to eachother, creating a bridge between 1945 and 2020. We did not intend to indepthly cover the story of a combat unit in WWII; it is more a form of art than it's a documentary.

Joey van Meesen has a Master's Degree in Military History and is a researcher of the US Army during WWII. He specializes in various types of archives material to research individuals and reconstruct the battlefields.
